I want to live in Songdo

I am not too interested in working abroad as I start my career in the established global cities. But the emerging cities are a different story. There are many new cities being built that hope to carry the title of global city. Some of them are charter cities which hope to stimulate development in third world countries. Others are investments by real estate giants. One such is Songdo, S Korea. I would list more examples but I'm limited to what I can learn via the Science Channel, or the effectiveness of my Google search. If I had to guess where other cities were being built, I would say UAE. I'd like to assume that the other new cities are similar to Songdo in their development. One great thing about Songdo is it will be incredibly green. An example is argon filled glass panes where the glass has been coated to have certain optical and thermal properties. They do exactly what you wish our houses would do, good at retaining heat in the winter, bad at retaining heat in the summer. Another feature of Songdo is the unique architecture of it's center piece comparable to the Sydney Opera House. The city's center piece will be it's convention center which will have "no walls" just a roof. And one of the most exciting things is that the city will be fully open in several years. Some businesses have already moved there, and the school is open.
What I'd like, is does anyone have similar interests and want to compare notes? Does anyone know which new cities are about to fully open and hopefully have career opportunities for entry level engineers? Has anyone worked abroad in a similar city? Know any good links or words to use for web searches to find these gems?
