Austin receives $4.8M in stimlus green job funds

I happen to resonate with one of the reader'a comments:

This is a wasteful re-circulation of OUR taxpayer dollars (minus a large % to layers of bureaucratic losses) back to "stimulate" us. Basically, we're going further into debt to pay ourselves to re-train people on skills that are unnecessary. ...

However, since the money has already been spent, I hope it does help out locally.
