It's amazing and ironic that
It's amazing and ironic that Seagram's had such insight. So I supposes this goes to show that whiskey is the drink of choice when brainstorming. Just make sure to have a sober note-taker around; otherwise nobody will remember the brilliance from the night before.
I have a print ad laminated
I have a print ad laminated from 1983 that an ad agency I worked for as a VP-Supervisor did for a client the headline of which reads "And someday people will send mail without stamps." It was the same one that didn't understand the future - including having turned down the opportunity to sponsor the CNN evening news because at the time cable TV only reached 15% of households.
Despite what you see on television, at least in 1983, it wasn't whiskey.
Amazing how many things they
Amazing how many things they got right!!! I love how they predicted the sports bar but only hockey is on TV (what about helmets, face guards, mouth pieces, etc.)?
And where they are
And where they are now...

Entertaining! I remember
Entertaining! I remember as a kid, we would visit my Grandmother and watch this show about predictions in the future. I wonder how many of the key innovators of these products were influenced by that show or these ads.
