Nightmare on Customer Service Street

This may be the most ludicrous call of all time. If you have been trained to mitigate fires such as these, then you are of crazy high value.

I used to take customer service calls. I have experienced the "what is the mouse?" person. This call is exponentially (even factorially) worse.

It can be worse, much worse. If you man the help desk for internal customers and you get a call like that from a manager of some influence within your own company (AKA PHB), your maneuvering room for dealing with cluelessness is greatly reduced.
