Unfortunately, from where I am currently located, I have a very slow Internet connection (modem @ 1.1Kbps speeds; yikes!), so I won't have the ability to publish the door64 newsletter this week. Please look for it next Sunday, same time, same station!

Been up in NY on vacation,

Been up in NY on vacation, and my folk's house (where I was staying) has 56K modem that connects around 28.8K....and no cell phone reception. So I've been electronically stranded for the past 1.5 weeks :)

I have a nice 300 baud modem

I have a nice 300 baud modem you can have. It's a modern one, too: direct phone line connection, no acoustic coupler. It's much larger, and much heavier than an external hard drive, so it makes a nice paper weight or boat anchor.
