Product Safety Engineering Society (IEEE) Meeting - "Leakage Current" - What the heck is it and why should I care?

Leakage Current is a concept/requirement that is applicable to all product safety standards for electrical equipment. The origins/rationale behind the test methodologies and the limits are not clearly understood, and some of the early research into human reactions to leakage current is “very interesting” to say the least.

At this meeting Lal Bahra, Senior Regulatory Engineer with Dell Inc, will present an overview of Leakage Current requirements and test methods.

Join us at the Dell Parmer South campus on Tuesday night, May 19th, when we’ll learn more about this “potentially electrifying” topic. Networking starts at 6:30pm, meeting topic starts at 7pm.
