Here's what you'll learn:

  • The nuts and bolts of social media
  • How and where to get started
  • Tips on building your social media strategy
  • Basic do’s and dont's

Ricci Neer, of Ricci Neer Media, has been on the forefront of the new media landscape since 1999. Equipped with only a laptop and an internet connection, she successfully developed her business distributorship into a leading organization for sales volume, retail clients and mailing list data. She’s worked with small businesses, independent representatives, and corporate divisions in mailing list development, segmentation and marketing, direct response initiatives, copywriting, personal branding, and loyalty programs. Today Ricci is a new media personality, blogger, speaker, host, emcee, consultant and service provider for small businesses and independent professionals.

Connie Reece, of New Media Lab, is Chief Community Officer for an Austin startup that offers curriculum-based learning experiences designed for business professionals new to social media. She is a co-founding member and on the advisory board of the Social Media Club, an international association for emerging media professionals. She blogs at Every Dot Connects, along with other passionate marketing and media practitioners who are using new technologies to build bridges between people, ideas and causes. When a friend was diagnosed with breast cancer, Connie created the Frozen Pea Fund with the mission of funding breast cancer research, education and programs.
