Nerd Nite, a free monthly event that mixes traditional lecture with stand-up comedy to create an experience described as "like the Discovery Channel...with beer" returns!

This month's presentations include: "An Inconvenient Shark: A Citizen's Guide to Shark Biology" by sharkologist Lewis E. Weil (+ interpretative dance!), "Preventing a Dietary-based Apocalypse through Public Health Theory and Practice" by sustainable food expert Joy Casnovsky, and "December 2012: An End of Days?" by Mayan archaeologist Dr. Ed Barnhart.
