Covenant’s New Career Transitions Ministry - Winter Program
Thursdays, Feb 4th - Mar 11th
7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
2222/Mopac
Fellowship and Education Building

In these uncertain times, we know too well how God uses life circumstances to get our attention. A transition as significant as a job change is one of the most unsettling moments you can experience. Yet, with a fundamental belief that God has a purpose for our lives, combined with the skills to manage through a career transition, you can arrive at a better place.

The six-week curriculum takes participants through a new stand-alone topic during each class. You can attend one or all of the sessions. We anticipate each week to be a working session to help you build your skills and create a plan of action. The program is Christ-centered, so you also gain confidence and strength from the foundation of faith. This program is open to anyone in the Austin community considering a career transition.

Feb 11 - "Resumes that Work" - Nelson Mann, Tyler and Co.

Feb 18 - "Competency-Based Interviewing" - Karen Harrell, VP HR, Wincor Nixdorf

Feb 25 - "Managing Change" - Dr. Chris Thurman, noted author and psychologist

Mar 4 - "Smart Networking" - Scott Carley, President, Carley's Growth Dynamic Consulting

Mar 11 - "Personal Branding" - David Hughen, Founder, AustinWorkNet

Membership at Covenant Presbyterian Church is not required. This class is FREE and open to all. We invite our neighbors to come and learn how to fine tune their career options in this challenging economy.
