IEEE Product Safety Engineering Society Meeting
Topic for the evening is "ARC Flashes". You know that little shock you get when you touch a metal door handle in the Winter? Well, magnify that by about a 1000 times and that's what's called an ARC Flash. For electronics (or people), it can be deadly.
So join us Tuesday night to learn more about the causes/effects of this type of an electrical discharge. What you learn may be rather "shocking"...
We meet at the Dell Parmer South campus, building S4, in the Victoria conference room (just inside the main door).
