A few weeks ago Zach Haines took us on a tour of Goodwill of central Texas. The computer recycling area processes 250,000 lbs of computers every year. Zack used to work in that area and we will be starting our first projects in that area. Zach is going to bring the group some basic metrics and process flow information so that we can begin formulating a plan.
Tonight was Goodwill's annual Hall of honor banquet where they shined the spotlight on success stories.
Hopefully Zach can bring us some of the left over booklets. The stories are inspiring.
One of the speakers was a guy who summited Mt. Everest with one arm. He also showed us video of the 50 or more people that were missing one or more limbs, that made it to the base camp at 17,600 ft.
I intend to have lunches at places where we can all pay individually and people can come and go as they please.
If you have any questions or comments please feel free to call me.
