ENTREPRENEURSHIP FOR PROGRAMMERS
by Capital Factory

Have you ever thought about starting a company? This is a rare opportunity to learn from the experience of Capital Factory mentors in an intimate classroom setting. The mentors teaching this class all have computer science or engineering degrees and have founded successful companies. Some have bootstrapped, while others have raised venture capital. Some don't code anymore, others still use vim regularly. We have an agenda but there will also be plenty of time for you to ask your own questions.

Learn about these topics from other programmer entrepreneurs:

Why is $50,000 the new $5,000,000?
How does a geek sift through all the marketing bullshit on the Internet?
Should I bootstrap it or raise VC money?
How do I meet angel investors?
How do I give a killer elevator pitch?
How do I measure my business?
How do I hire my first salesperson?
When do I need a "business guy"?
What should my investor deck look like?

We'll wrap it up with a panel of Capital Factory mentors who have engineering degrees and open it up to the audience for questions.

Taught by Capital Factory mentors:
Samy Aboel-Nil, Joshua Baer, Ian Clarke, Jason Cohen, Russell Hinds, Rony Kahan, Kip McClanahan, Ed Roman
