Guest Speakers - This week we have 2 presentations scheduled

* Compass Bank - presentation on their "The Compass For Your Cause" program for Non-Profit Organizations.

Naina Gala - Banking Center Manager/Assistant Vice President and Scott Williams - Sr. financial Sales Consultant will explain the all the benefits Compass Bank can offer Austin Green Energy Group and our members along with Fund-raising Solutions paid by Compass Bank.

* Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) -

Lauren Young - Program Specialist in the Pollution Prevention and Education Section of the TCEQ. Lauren will introduce the Austin Green Energy Group to some of the programs and opportunities available with TCEQ.

The Pollution Prevention and Education Section of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality implements and manages programs that help prevent pollution, conserve resources and achieve compliance through education, outreach, technical assistance, and innovative technologies. These efforts include programs like Clean Texas, a voluntary environmental leadership program; SAV+, which provides multi-media on-site assessments; Recycle Texas Online, a free, online recycler locator; RENEW, a materials exchange program; Computer-equipment Recycling; Take Care of Texas, an individual environmental responsibility campaign; and Texas Environmental Excellence Awards.
