Austin .Net Users Group (ADNUG)
Bottles, developed by the same team that brought you FubuMVC and HtmlTags, is a new way to bring extensiblity into your application. The team built Bottles to reduce the burden of building large extensible applications. Using Bottles, teams now have a vocabulary for discussing composition at the application layer.
Dru Sellers will go over the basics of Bottles, what it can do, how it's being used, and a small demo where Dru will walk through each aspect of the framework.
In the world of .NET Open Source community, Dru is a familiar name. Part of the team that brought you Topshelf (a framework for simplifying service hosting on Windows and UNIX) and MassTransit (a distributed application framework), he is also one of the committers for the Castle Project project as well as FubuMVC, an Open Source MVC framework for ASP.NET.
The talk will take place at New Horizons from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on 4/9/2012.
