The Summer heat is pressing down in full force, which can mean only one thing- ProductCamp Austin 9 is almost here! For our hundred plus friends that came out for ProductParty a few weeks ago, I'm sure we can all agree that our efforts to build a vibrant community have been a wild success. Thank you for helping make this community great. Now we are returning the favor. As we near double digits with ProductCamp Austin 9 we will raise the bar on the exellence you've already come to expect. Stay tuned for details on how we'll be stepping it up. Be a Leader
By charter rule, ProductCamp Austin (PCA) will hold board elections during our August 18th ProductCamp event. The responsibility to collect and present the slate of candidates for office is held by the Nomination Review Committee. If you are a member of PCA (have attended an event during the past year) and wish to declare your candidacy for a particular board position, please send an email to Paul@ProductCampAustin.org by Friday, August 10th. Please include the following information:

name
email address
a short bio (current title, current employer, previous employment, skills/experience relevant to the PCA Board position)
If approved, your name will be added to the list of prospective Board candidates, which will be posted online. Newly elected officers begin their one year term of service immediately following ProductCamp.
