The CLUB E Network, a social network for entrepreneurs and business owners, will launch an Austin, Texas chapter on November 10.

Gary Hoover, founder of the Bookstop and Hoovers.com, will keynote the event which will be held at the Long Center and gets underway at 6:15 p.m.

The CLUB E Network (www.CLUBENetwork.com) is an “online” and “on the ground” social network and broadband TV channel for aspiring, emerging and experienced entrepreneurs and business owners. Its open-source organization invites the entrepreneur community to join together globally to pool their talents and encourage the free exchange of ideas and resources.

“The CLUB E Network has experienced growth over the last year, opening chapters in places like Phoenix, Los Angeles, Denver and now Austin,” said co-founder Ingrid Vanderveldt, who along with another co-founder Lyn Graft is a MBA graduate of the University of Texas’ McCombs School of Business. “Austin is a fertile ground for entrepreneurs to launch and build companies. We believe that CLUB E can support and fuel that growth by sharing effective ideas for successful entrepreneurship.”

Vanderveldt, a serial entrepreneur herself, created a successful television show in 2006 -- “American Made on CNBC” -- that featured a behind-the-scenes look at the lives and businesses of America's top entrepreneurs.

In producing that series, she interviewed the likes of Willie Davidson of Harley Davidson, John Mackey of Whole Foods and Howard Schultz of Starbucks.

“There are million of entrepreneurs, who are on the cusp of greatness,” she said. “CLUB E is ready to lend a hand.”
