People-Powered Media [un]Workshop
The "People-Powered Media [un]Workshop" is an "unconference" style event created to explore how community media can be used as a tool for information, organization, and action. In an "unconference" format the attendees generate the agenda, the sessions and the discussion. If you are a journalist, artist, technologist, community advocate, creator or just a citizen then the "People-Powered Media [un]Workshop" will have something for you.
The event will be held November 8, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Ruiz Branch Library, 1600 Grove Blvd.
