Hey Teri -- are there any type of scholarships available to offset the cost for this course? There are a number of companies out there who seem to be craving for .NET experience. Seems like there's an opportunity for companies to fund candidates to be trained, and then get first picks for hiring. Just thinking out loud here.
I used to work with a
I used to work with a technical recruiter who sometimes got hiring companies to pay for IT training for their new hires to brush up on their technical skills. This is especially important if the new hire has great qualities, but might need some updated training. It also demonstrates the companies initiative to invest in their new hires success. I'm not so sure it is happening now because of the economy downturn, but it's a cheaper way of getting a qualified candidate than interview after interviewing looking for the perfect hire.
