Kirk Crenshaw - Director of Marketing - Appirio
Kirk is a recognized expert in the field of demand generation for HighTech B2B companies and has created strategies for firms with as few as five employees to global organizations including Salesforce.com. Kirk currently leads demand generation strategy and execution at Appirio (www.appirio.com), a products and services company that helps enterprises accelerate their adoption of on-demand, and is the fastest growing partner of Salesforce.com and Google. Prior to Appirio, Kirk co-founded Demandbase , a marketing software and services company focused on helping growing B2B companies develop, plan and implement high quality lead generation operations. Kirk developed an expertise in sales process and sales execution from his experience at CRM, mobility and collaborative solution oriented companies (OnStation, Avantgo, and Covia). Kirk also has a strong management track record leading teams with 40+ sales people and developing large channel networks. Prior to High Tech, Kirk spent seven years in the automotive industry in sales and marketing roles with the Robert Bosch Corporation and SNR/Renault. Kirk is also currently an adviser for rapidly growing companies including Xactly, Innotas, Salesforce.com, and RepairPal.com and is a regular contributor to a number of blogs and periodicals. He earned a B.S. in Finance and Marketing from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley in 1990.
