Nerd Nite is like the Discovery Channel with beer!

Celebrate the twin gods of alcohol and knowledge at Opal Divine's with lectures from the obscurely banal to the frankly bizarre. The event, which blends elements of stand-up comedy and traditional lecture, celebrates the wide spectrum of local nerdery, and is not limited to "tech" topics.

3/26 presentions include UT epidemiologist Sam Scarpino’s "Save the Gorilla, Save the World”, and Dave Trimbach’s “Post-Soviet Belarusian (or Byelorussian) Society.” Be there, and be square.
