TiE Austin Extends Business Plan Submission Deadline to May 4th

Calling ALL Entrepreneurs with Brilliant Ideas to Submit Plan by May 4th.

Due to the significance of the event and tremendous interest from tier 1 venture capital and angel investors, TiE Austin has extended business plan submission deadline to May 4th.

Do you have an off-the-chart business idea that you have been thinking through. Are you wondering how to get it in front of Angel Investors and Venture Capital firms to see if it will stick? TiE Austin's Funding Forum is back again. This time even Bigger and Better. One brilliant company participated in 2008 and got funded! A handful of Angels and VCs are gearing up to listen to the top business pitches again this year. Will your idea be the next one to get funded?

All summaries must be received by May 4th, 2009 to be considered. Early submissions are highly encouraged!

Executive summaries will be reviewed by a small committee. Finalists will be notified by TiE Austin and those selected will be given the opportunity to make their business case to a team of Venture Capitalists, Angel Investors, Lawyers, and Bankers at the final Funding Forum event on May 12, at Atrium, JJ Pickle Research Campus from 6-9 pm. Several TiE Charter Members will also participate and provide feedback from their own experiences.

3. Entrepreneur looking for tools & means to position the product/service in the marketplace

You don't have to take part in the business plan competition to attend this event.
