SAN & VMware Administrator

Job Responsibilities:

· Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues as they relate to our Microsoft server environment.
· Manage the advancement of the SAN/VM infrastructure (Dell Equalogics, EMC VNXe, VMWare).
· Secure/manage corporate data by ensuring all servers are backed-up and disaster recovery strategies in place.
· Perform scheduled on-call duties and after hours work as required by the business needs.
· Documenting standards and operating procedures for all production Microsoft systems.

Education/Experience Requirements:

· 4 years College degree preferred or 5 years paid professional IT experience.
· MCSE preferred
· Certifications a plus

Skills and Required Knowledge:
· Must have excellent working knowledge of the following areas: Linux, Windows Server 2008/2003 Domain Environment (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, etc.), Microsoft Exchange 2003, SAN technologies, VMWare, and backup strategies & technologies.
· Background in applications support, in-house IT systems development, and large-scale production IT systems;
· Willingness to take on new challenges and work outside your comfort zone as we grow as a company
· Subject to in-person supervision during working hours
· In-person interaction with co-workers and supervisors
· Experience with the following would be a plus; Citrix, MS SCCM, EMC Avamar, MS ISA or Forefront, EMC VNXe, RSA Envision, DELL Equallogic, RSA SecureID, Backup Exec, Ironport
