Senior .Net Developer
BuildASign.com is a fast-growing self-funded ecommerce powerhouse in Austin, with solid and rapidly-increasing growth, an expanding customer base, and a lot of energy. We are seeking a full-time Senior .NET developer to help us scale our already large e-commerce applications to the next level and improve our internal systems and workflow processes. An ideal candidate will be innovative, creative, flexible, and self-motivated. Solid communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment are critical.
Technical Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience
• Extensive .NET experience
• Extensive experience with SQL database maintenance and development
• Advanced knowledge of all of the following: C#, HTML, CSS, javascript, ajax
• Strong knowledge of using and building data access layers and ORMs
• Ability to design and write reliable, high-performance, and maintainable code
• Ability to re-factor and re-structure code for maintainability
• Ability to debug and resolve existing bugs in complex systems
• Knowledge of best practices; including patterns and practices
• Great team-oriented attitude
Preferred Experience/Qualifications:
• Entity Framework and LINQ experience
• Experience with URL rewriting
• jQuery Experience
• IIS configuration and set-up
Other Qualifications:
• Eagerness to consistently exceed expectations and take on more responsibility
• Passion for finding the best answers to challenging problems
• Great communication skills (you'll be working directly with other talented developers and the company founders, and we have LOTS of idea sessions)
• Acute attention to detail
