Business Analyst
Jawood is currently seeking a Business Analyst for an onsite assignment in Austin, TX.
A. Facilitate and participate in web site content review and content development including information architecture for multiple business areas as part of ongoing Internet Redesign project.
B. Create, review and/or edit web page detailed designs, ensuring that they meet all project requirements and standards.
C. Review and edit proposed web page content for consistency with web content best practices, including usability and accessibility, and content strategy and style guide.
D. Facilitate and participate in web page unit test and user acceptance test to ensure that new or modified web site content meets business requirements and is implemented as designed.
E. May assist with implementation of a content management system (CMS) including moving existing content into the CMS and designing new content within it.
F. Perform other duties as assigned.
Worker will perform complex business analysis work on assigned Project Management Office (PMO) projects. Use standardized project management methodologies, tools and techniques to address project needs. Tailor templates for project use. Conduct collaborative work sessions with business-area subject matter experts and technical staff to achieve project goals as scheduled. Communicate effectively orally and in writing with project team members and other stakeholders to efficiently and accurately convey and receive project information. Prepare and update detailed design and project tracking documentation. Prepare or review content outlines, page flow diagrams and other documentation for current and proposed web site content. Review documentation and perform quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with project, agency and legal requirements and standards. Write and edit for plain language, incorporating web content best practices. Worker may deliver training, presentations or demonstrations. HTML, CMS and SEO experience a plus.
