Database Design and Development- Austin, TX
CONTRACT - AUSTIN, TX – DATABASE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT
Estimated Term: 6 Months
Location: Austin, Texas
Experience: 3-5 years
We are seeking a “hands-on” database analyst that can design, develop, and deliver the best database solution for a silicon validation team’s specific needs.
We suspect the right candidate will have:
· Solid experience designing and developing a variety of SQL databases including MS SQL and MySQL
· Solid experience leading internal customers in the requirements gathering process
· Solid experience evaluating existing SQL database systems and proposing the best solution
· Strong experience with schema design and refactoring of existing databases
· Experience working with more than one ETL tool.
· Experience migrating databases ( ideally, MySql to MS SQL or Other)
· Experience working with a wide variety of database reporting tools
· Experience gathering ongoing feedback from internal customers and providing user training- as needed
