Technical Project Manager

The Technical Project Manager (PM) will oversee, report and communicate all development and project updates to CSID stakeholders. The Technical PM will be responsible to ensure schedules and objectives are clearly communicated and tracked across all technical resources and projects.

Primary Responsibilities:
•Develop and update project plans for information technology projects including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding and staffing
•Experience as a hands-on Technical Project Manager, specifically in a platform development environment
•Proactively manage and identify project scope, potential risks and create contingency plans with development team leaders
•Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information
•Collaborate with developers, quality assurance, production support and account teams to provide technical direction on development, design, systems analysis and implementation
•Experience with software development ideally developing and implementing enterprise applications based in LAMP environment.
•Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodology and use of issue tracking
•Identifies short, medium and long-term risks within projects to ensure project and overall company success.
•Understands and identifies core team competencies and challenges to identify areas of improvements.
•Recognizes team synergies, identifies measurable metrics, and offers solutions to help track process and employee inefficiencies.
•Collaborates with team members to plan, track and measure overall operating and capital budgets for hardware, software, staffing and other operational expenses
•Collaborates with client services and/or department staff to ensure that all company’s technology projects are meeting client expectations
•Participates in recurring meetings for company initiatives
•Plan, coordinate and oversee multiple simultaneous projects

Qualifications: 

Job Requirements:
•BS, BA in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, MIS or relevant technology degree. Advanced degrees are preferred.
•5-7 years of project management experience
•Understanding on SDLC
•PMP Certificate preferred
•Excellent communicator with the ability to effectively communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences
•Excellent planning and managerial skills, able to prioritize in accordance with business objectives, strong attention to detail
•Must be self motivated, dedicated and have the ability and desire to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
