We are looking for a VDI Administrator with programming/scripting experience in Batch, Perl, Powershell and other scripting languages.
Job Description:
The primary responsibility for this position is to design, implement and support an enterprise class Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). Candidate will be responsible to build and sustain images, virtualized application packages, scripts and infrastructure servers. Candidate will also be responsible to work with different functional teams to build and support the VDI environment. In addition, Candidates should have well-rounded experience in Virtualization technologies, is capable of handling multiple projects, and is customer centric.
• Reporting capacity planning
• Scripting automated tasks
• Supporting the existing VDI environment
• Evaluating new technologies and provide solutions
• Designing VDI workflow
• Troubleshooting related to VDI
Qualifications:
5+ years as a VDI/Virtualization Administrator and Desktop Administrator
Intermediate level programming/scripting in Batch, Perl, Powershell and other scripting languages
Knowledge in VMware Virtualization Technologies
Expertise in VMware ESX 4.x and 5.x
Expertise in VMware View 4.x and 5.x
Experience working with Thinapp or application virtualization technologies
Experience working with thin clients
Experience working with Microsoft based applications
Experience working with NFS/SAN based storage
Experience working with Enterprise class servers
Excellent data-driven problem and analytical skills
Knowledge in performance monitoring
Network fundamental
CVS fundamental
