Mobile Application Sales Representative – Techarati
Hours: Full-Time/Part-Time Available
Location: Austin, TX
Techarati is seeking an energetic, self-starting sales representative to find and develop leads with local,
regional and national businesses for mobile app sales. Techarati specializes in the development of iOS
and Android applications for smartphones and tablets. Our clients require external (customer-facing)
as well as internal apps (CRM, inventory, enterprise resource planning). Techarati sales professionals
must have a thorough understanding of a wide variety of business models and potential new market
segments for apps. While technical knowledge regarding app development is important, it is not as
critical to the sale as understanding business needs and mobile user behavior.
Requirements:
High school diploma
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Available during normal business hours (M-F, 8am to 5pm)
1 year of experience in sales
The ideal candidate:
Will have 3-5 years of sales experience in multiple industries and markets
Will understand on a basic level how apps are built and used
Be a smartphone or tablet user
Understands the importance of user interface and user experience
Is comfortable with cold-calling, walk-ins and short notice meetings
Can create and deliver top-notch presentations
Has a Bachelor’s degree
Compensation: Commission Only (rate commensurate with experience)
