The Lead Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst plans and executes activities to ensure the quality and integrity of CSID software products released for distribution. The position is responsible for identifying and creating an overall test strategy and documenting and executing test plans to ensure the product meets requirements. The individual within the position demonstrates an in-depth understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle, quality assurance concepts, and manual and automated testing techniques. Basic database skills and knowledge of automated testing tools are preferred. The Lead QA Analyst position is also responsible for providing technical support to other QA team members and may be considered the subject matter expert for multiple CSID systems or products.

Responsibilities:
•Participate in requirements gathering meetings and review business requirements and design documents to develop test strategy and test cases
•Work with the project team to develop the testing strategy to ensure quality including requirements for System/Integration Testing, Performance Testing, Usability Testing, and User Acceptance Testing
•Oversee and/or perform the execution of test cases to assure functionality meets the business needs
•Evaluate testing results and document testing issues in a quality assurance tracking system
•Communicate testing progress, product readiness, level of quality and results to the Quality Assurance Manager and the project team
•Provide testing metrics for test case progress and defect issuance
•Support the preparation of user and training documentation of new functionality
•Collaborate with the Support Team in troubleshooting production issues
•Keep QA process documentation up to date and champion process improvements
•Support offshore testing resources ensuring successful handoffs through clear communication
•Mentor and assist in the on-boarding of new team members
•Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

Skillset
•3-5 years of relevant experience
•Strong understanding of QA best practices, processes and artifacts
•Experience in documenting and executing test plans, as well as with automated testing tools and SQL are preferred.
•Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
•Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
•Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
•Ability to quickly adapt to change.
