Project Manager.
Day-to-Day Activities:
? Manages the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects for multiple, complex projects to develop or
enhance Internet and e-commerce products and services.
? Establishes and manages project timelines and milestones based on the Business Case or approved
scope of work.
? Provides overall project management, communication and risk management for projects; minimizes
exposure and mitigates risk across projects.
? Identifies, allocates and assigns portal team members to appropriate tasks on projects.
? Coordinates and facilitates weekly project meetings internally and externally, as appropriate to
disseminate project status information and continually manage stakeholder expectations.
? Identifies documents and confronts issues and risks for projects quickly; escalates project issues
in an appropriate and timely manner.
? Works closely with development, quality assurance, operations, security, marketing, outreach and
customer support teams to develop productive relationships and to deliver projects to meet budgets
and timeframe committed to customer.
Position-specific Required Skills:
? Bachelor’s degree required.
? Minimum of five years in a project management role
? Excellent customer service skills, including good verbal and written communication abilities
? Strong leadership, organizational, prioritization and interpersonal skills
? Partner-facing role; requires presentation skills
? Self-motivated with excellent judgment; includes the ability to motivate team members and
aggressively drive forward progress
? Experience managing projects and resources in organizations outside his/her own company
? Excellent writing skills – experience writing proposals, business cases and other documentation is
required.
? Ability to manage multiple small or medium sized projects concurrently
? Ability and desire to thrive in a high-pressure, client-services entrepreneurial environment
? Ability to create strong professional relationships both with team members and state partners
? Willing to relocate, as opportunities may exist in multiple states
Position-specific Desired Skills:
? Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification desired

? Local (within Austin, TX) travel required to partner offices around the city
