JOB DESCRIPTION:

Role and Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for working interdependently with a team of support personnel to develop and resolve business applications concerns from customers in a timely and qualitative manner within the division of the company. This includes working with the support management to create and or utilize technical specifications to provide enhancements and issue resolution to an existing suite of applications currently in production, while adhering to standards and guidelines of company. In addition, the support developer will be responsible for assisting with existing efforts to improve or modify existing R&D efforts when customer support is not required. The candidate should have a solid understanding of object oriented programming and programming principles, a solid understanding of .NET, experience debugging and analyzing code, and working with team members to ensure a high quality end product.

Qualifications: 

*Minimum 5 years experience in coding in .NET with emphasis on C# as a programming language, ASP.NET, ADO.NET and SQL Server 2000/2005/2008

* Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering , or related field or equivalent work experience. Relevant job experience will also be considered in lieu of a degree

* Experience in Agile methodology is preferred but not required

* Must excel at identifying, analyzing and resolving issues or concerns in a timely fashion

* Must enjoy working in an environment where the customer expectations drive high pressure and high visibility to the support role

PREFERRED SKILLS:

* Understanding of VB6
