PHP Developer
We are looking for a Mid-Level PHP Developer for a permanent opportunity with one of our Austin clients. You will work for a fast growing start up in a highly collaborative and fun environment.
Responsibilities:
• Research new technologies and incorporate them into our products
• Test, integrate, write, troubleshoot, and debug software
• Work to improve the efficiency and functionality of current systems and products
• Update current products and develop new ones to product specifications
• Utilize third-party API services; Restful Web services supporting json/xml
Requirements:
• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• BS or MS in Computer Science or relevant experience
• Solid documentation and communication
• 2+ years experience with PHP/MySQL
• 2+ years experience with jQuery/CSS/HTML5
• Relational database design
• Strong Experience with MVC
Preferences:
• Experience processing large volumes of data
• Experience with Distributed Systems
• Contributions to open source software projects
• Strong command of web standards, CSS-based design, cross-browser compatibility
• Solid understanding of new media and social networking
