Strategy & Analytics Sr. Associate
Responsibilities: Use information to uncover meaningful behavioral relationships. Discover, analyze and quantify trends and correlations. Create reports for management as needed. Make strategic recommendations backed up by quantifiable data. Track, monitor, and report on new initiatives. Create products based on corporate needs as justified by quantifiable data. Design and execute on pricing strategy. Desgin and build algorithms using predictive modeling techniques. This position is as much as a project manager role as an analytics role.
Job Requirements: Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, mathmatics, statistics, actuarial science, or other very quantitative, mathmatical field from a four year institution. Advanced knowledge of quantitative analysis using Microsoft Excel and MS-SQL. Experience in an entrepreneurial/start-up environment. Knowledge of internet related business metrics including SEM/SEO/CPC/CPA,etc. Experience with Web Analytics Software such as Google Analytics, Omniture,etc. Experience managing and using Business Intelligence/Reporting Toos. 3-10 years experience in a BI or analytics focused role for an e-commerce company.
Ideal Candidate might also have:
Experience with SQL database design , data warehousing, or administration. Knowledge of MDX and its value to quantitative analysis. MBA or Masters in a related field or top school.
