System Test Engineer
6 month contract assignment to be responsible for testing the functionality, stabilitiy, reliability, and video/audio quality of company's products. Indentify, analyze and report product defects & anomalies, assist in root cause determination, and track defects until fully resolved. Participate in design reviews & technical reviews; work with developers to understand product features adn functions & resolve issues; assist in delivering fully tested products on schedule per the test plan with minimal field escapes.
Mid-Sr. level experience in system level testing & quality assurance. Some experience with video/audio, network appliance, and network management software required. Experience with a variety of testing environments including Linux and Windows platforms. Demonstrated skills in identifying, analyzing, and debugging software problems and anomalies. BS in EE or CS or equivalent work experience.
