SUMMARY
Responsible for managing and maintaining ERGOS' clients' technical infrastructure by providing consistent and quality customer service by adhering to ERGOS' policies and methodologies as outlined below. Analyze data processing problems and understand application of electronic data processing systems. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. Will analyze or recommend commercially available software and hardware. Primarily responsible for multiple small to mid size accounts, may have indirect report responsibility on a few mid size accounts of a desktop support person.
CLIENT MANAGEMENT
• Provides support to accounts of up to 75 users that span multiple locations
• Provide clients with assistance solving computer related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems.
• Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems.
• Consult with client to ensure agreement on system principles and the nature of the information processing or computation needs a computer program is to address.
• Determine computer software or hardware needed to set up or alter system.
• Coordinate with external vendors to provide timely service and issue remediation
• Maintain needed files by adding and deleting files on the network server and backing up files to guarantee their safety in the event of problems with the network.
• Monitor system performance and provide security measures, troubleshooting and maintenance as needed.
• Assist users to diagnose and solve data communication problems.
• Setup user accounts, regulating and monitoring file access to ensure confidentiality and proper use.
• Design and implement systems, network configurations, and network architecture, including hardware and software technology, site locations, and integration of technologies. Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve work flow.
• Maintain the peripherals, such as printers, that are connected to the network.
• Identify areas of operation that need upgraded equipment such as servers, switches, and peripherals.
• Coordinate, implement and execute complicated projects through the entire project lifecycle
• Create emotionally driven relationships with clients
QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree and/or five plus years related experience
• MCSE Certification or equivalent experience
• Excellent account management and customer service skills
• Proven project management skills and the ability to architect detailed networks comprising multiple servers, multiple locations and detailed business continuity requirements
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Professional appearance and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to interact in a variety of situations to include business development or pre-sales calls, customer service, orientations, training and networking
• Effective communication skills and the ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to clients, executives and other team members
• Active Listening- Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
• Capabilities to problem solve and bring resolution to client needs with a sense of urgency, persistence and enthusiasm. Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
• Adept at learning new strategies, acquiring new skills, gaining knowledge and willingness to develop professional expertise
• Ability to correspond with clients in a professional manner, both in writing and in oral presentations
• Ability to lead others and manage indirect reports to accomplish larger tasks and maintain operations for mid level clients
TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
Sr Consultants must be proficient at an intermediate level in most if not all of the following skills:
• Active Directory
• Client/Server application interaction
• Basic web systems
• Exchange 2003, 2007
• Microsoft Server 2003, 2008, SBS 2003, 2008
• Connectwise
• Terminal Services
• Firewalls -- Including but not limited to SonicWall and Cisco
• Routers and Switches
• Anti-Virus Software
• Enterprise back-up hardware and software
• VPN
• Microsoft Visio
• Desktop Support -- MS Office (Word/Excel/Powerpoint), Outlook
• Virtualization Software
• VMware experience is a plus
• XenServer experience is a plus
