Senior Web Developer
This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Web Developer to join one of Austin’s hottest venture funded startups! The ideal candidate will enjoy developing new user interfaces, and in particular web applications that operate in browsers and on mobile platforms, as well as improving ones that already exist. The candidate should have a keen eye for the look, feel and usability of commercial SaaS based applications. A creative thinker who loves designing web experiences and working with a high performance team in a fantastic downtown Austin work environment will thrive in this position.

Requirements
- 5+ years Web UI, HTML, Javascript, CSS, Ajax
- 5+ years working in Linux and Open Source environments
- 4+ years Java, Ruby, or Python Development
- 2+ years RESTful APIs and JSON
- 2+ years MVC design and implementation experience
- 2+ years scripting bash or perl
- Familiarity with multiple Linux distributions (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS, Fedora, Debian)
Bonus Experience
- Experience with encryption, ciphers, public/private key technology
- Experience with Open Stack, Eucalyptus, CloudFoundry or other cloud technology
- Experience with Hadoop, MongoDB, Cassandra, or other big data technology
- Experience developing native apps for Android or iOS
