Job Description:
The QA Engineer is responsible for QA/UAT design, development and execution. The QA duties included developing and executing test plans, both automated and manual, performing user acceptance testing against Web Services and creating, reviewing and updating end-user documentation related to those Web Services and customer process workflows. Responsibilities will include:
•Maintain and write new automated test cases in existing test frame.
•Perform UAT / regression testing for all enhancement and/or patch releases against documented specifications
•Perform UAT / regression testing against APIs, Web Services using internal and external tools, Web portals and reports
•Build and manage the QA/UAT processes along with other IT/Operations staff
•Develop and execute test plans, test cases and client use-case scenarios
•Provide internal Quality Assurance and administer tasks related to all QA activities
•Identify and report QA issues, workflow issues and other project risks to development team
•Evaluate overall test processes and produce regular progress updates
•Function testing and patch validation to verifying expected changes were installed
•Evaluate system performance, reproduce issues and work with development to resolve identified problems

Qualifications: 

Job Requirements:
The QA Engineer must have the ability to test and debug custom developed application, web services, and database issues and be familiar with monitoring tools in Windows, Linux and other proprietary monitoring applications. The candidate must also be competent with:
•Continuous integration tools (Hudson, Jenkins)
•Ant, Junit at the functional level
•SQL and XML
•Web services, API testing
•Some programming and/or scripting: Java, PHP, Perl, Bash/Shell, or other
•Linux and Windows Operating Systems
Other required skills include:
•BS, BA in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, MIS or relevant technology degree or Relevant work experience in similar environment
•Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
•Must be able to execute all tasks with exceptional attention to detail
•Must have ability and desire to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced start-up environment and be able to handle several projects and tasks simultaneously
•Must possess excellent time management and prioritization skills
