Duties performed will include, but not be limited to the following:

•Configure, install and update hardware and software for all workstations while creating a standard image utilizing imaging software
•Provide prompt and courteous customer service
•Provide end-user, Client Support Admin (CSA) and Network Computer Center (NCC) phone support
•Experience/familiar with Active Directory
•Experience with Directory, Resource, Administration (DRA) a plus.
•Create, modify, move and assign mailboxes
•Provide hardware and software application upgrades and enhancements to end-user workstations and laptops, configure user profiles and permissions
•Create, modify, move, delete and restore distribution lists
•MS Exchange experience is favorable
•Installation and configuration of third-party tools including antivirus software (NAV), backup and systems management software
•Experience/familiar with Remedy trouble ticketing
•Provide user orientation on desktop hardware and software
•Analytical/technical troubleshooting skills in hardware and software
•Microsoft Office/Windows XP/Vista Pro operating systems knowledge
•Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Certification Requirements:
•Bachelor’s Degree

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a citizen and be able to hold a security clearance. You do not need a current/active clearance to apply, but must be able to pass a government security background investigation.

Qualifications: 

Work Experience/Skills Requirements:
•3+ years’ experience in Helpdesk support or serving in similar IT support/admin roles
•Experience adding software patches and vendor supplied service packs
•Coaches and provides standard operating procedures (SOP) and additional technical assistance
•Must be efficient in a fast-paced competitive environment
•Experience troubleshooting hardware, software and network connectivity issues
•Remotely diagnostics and troubleshooting client workstations
•Install/troubleshoot VPN Service/problems.
•Experience with Windows Server 2003, XP and MS Office /03/07/08, Vista
•Diagnose, identify, isolate and analyze problems utilizing historical database records
•Understand network topologies
•Required to maintain technical proficiency and certifications, such as A+, Sec+, Net+, CCNA and other related technical skills, in relevant fields of expertise
•Maintain passwords, data integrity and file system security for the environments
•Track assets, such as desktop PCs, laptops and peripheral equipment, including replacement, repair and disposal
•Lifting and maneuvering of supplies, materials, chairs, tables and/or folding tables etc., weighing up to 50 pounds
•Occasional stooping, reaching, pushing, twisting, pulling and standing etc.
