The IEEE Council on Electronic Design Automation, also called IEEE CEDA, or Council on EDA, or just CEDA, is an organizational unit of the IEEE. It was initiated to be the central point of sponsorship for activities in electronic design automation, or EDA. CEDA is a sponsor of the Design Automation Conference (or DAC), the premier event for the design of electronic circuits and systems, and for EDA and silicon solutions. In June, 2013, the 50th DAC will be hosted by Austin for the first time ever. CEDA is hosting this happy hour to promote DAC in Austin -- come spread the word!
