My most indispensible plugin is the Yahoo del.icio.us plugin
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3615
There is also a web 2.0 plugin I like that lets you submit your blog entries to all the social bookmarking sites, including del.icio.us
http://www.web20toolbar.com/ which also allows you to get to your gmail, yahoo mail, or hotmail with a single keystroke and alerts you to incoming mail.
I have a dozen or so other plugins but these are the two I find most indispensible.
My favorite so far is firebug: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1843
Indispensable for web development, especially when trying to fix those silly CSS issues that can plague one for hours...

I'm not a developer, so I don't use any plugins related to that realm. Among my favorites are:
- easyGestures
- Foxmarks Bookmark Synchronizer
- Google Browser sync
- Hyperwords
- Interclue
- Speed Dial
- Yet Another Smooth Scrolling
Showcase is nice, it let's you display all your tabs in a page of thumbnails.
Thanks Mark. I need to try out some of those. I have not really used Firefox plugins, except for Firebug for web dev.

gspace is an awesome plugin that let's you turn your gmail in to an online mass storage device. And it manages multiple gmail accounts for even more storage.
Adblock - self explanitory
Adblock Filterset.G Updater - downloads updates for Adblock
Foxmarks Synchronizer - love this one, it allows me to synch my bookmarks between all my computers.
LastTab - I've had this one for a while and haven't tested Firefox without it, but when you close a tab, it goes to the last used tab before it.
ReloadEvery - If a website doesn't reload on its own, you can set this one to reload at a set interval.
Save Session - If you want to close FF and return to the tabs that you currently have open, save the session and the next time you open FF all those tabs will load.
Tab X - Puts the "red X" on the corner of each tab, even ones not selected, so you can close a tab without having to select it.
URL Link - This is handy when you find a URL (impartials, too) that isn't a link, you can highlight it, right-click, and tell it to open in a new tab or window.
Google Notebook - This is a feature that allows you to use Notebook (it's cool, check it out).

I use reloadevery to refresh pages automatically. What does SaveSession do over Firefox's innate ability to save sessions? What about tab mix plus? Google notebook is very cool.
Save Session - Let's say you have 4 tabs open. You need to close your browser, you don't want to bookmark those tabs, but you want them to open the next time you start FF. That's what save session does. I've been using it for a while, so if FF has incorporated that into the browser as a normal function, I didn't know. It was handy for when FF crashed (before FF had the functionality to recover your old session).
I just checked out Tab Mix Plus, and didn't know it could save sessions. I may have to experiment with it. Thanks for mentioning it!

I'm sure firefox present version can save tab sessions... I just was wondering if sessionsaver gives you any added functionality over the native firefox ability to do this. Does sessionsaver let you save different groups of tags with descriptive names?
You don't need tags. The session is a one-time only session.

I meant *tabs* not tags.
Do a google search for "tabs relative firefox" and try out this awesome app. Well, it's pretty mundane really but it keeps your tabs together in groups which is very useful.
I'm a big fan of foxmarks, though I've had some problems on my linux box at work (Ubuntu 7.10)
Foxmarks
Ad Block Plus
Compact Menu (gets rid of the top menu)
Firebug
ReloadEvery
Stop / Reload Button (combines stop and reload buttons)
Has anyone made the leap to Firefox 2.5? I like my current plugins so I'm going to check and see if they're compatible begfore making the jump.

Ahh, I didn't know about the LinkedIn plug-in. I'll give it a try out.
Flash Blocker rocks.
There are so many damned Flash-only (note: likely A.D.A. violation) Web sites, Firefox would be useless without it.
Apple's Safari has a check box to disable plug-ins, so I was surprised that Firefox doesn't have a similar standard feature.
