Development of physical layer software for 3G cellular base stations

ST Microelectronics (Aug 2004 -- May 2005)

I worked in a team responsible for development of physical layer software on ST140 based DSP platforms for 3G cellular network base stations for WCDMA, CDMA2000 and EDGE standards. I implemented and optimized signal processing modules like channel estimation, path search algorithms, automatic frequency correction for CDMA rake receiver and developed convolutional coder, viterbi and turbo decoders for different wireless standards.
