Hardware Engineer/ CPU Architecture Designer
I am a PhD student and will be graduating this May 2008. I have interest as a hardware engineer. My academic research has focus on advance hardware algorithms for searching. I have developed new hashing algorithm for use in IP address lookup and intrusion detection systems. I have publications in
the areas of IP address lookup, hashing algorithm design, multimedia workload
characterization and a Pentium 4 case study on SPEC CPU 2000.
I have hardware engineering experience using FGPAs. I have used the Xilinx and Altera development environments. I have knowledge of using both VHDL and Verilog.
I have software skills programming in C and C++. I have used the softICE debugger and have knowledge of Intel's Vtune performance evaluator. I have experience programming in a embedded system environment.
Please contact the skill set owner if you have an imminent employment opportunity, or one currently available to discuss. Thank you.
