Background information

Technical Support
Certified competent on all training classes re: Dell Portable and Desktop hardware troubleshooting, driver troubleshooting, wireless data communication and Microsoft XP and Vista OS as well as Office. Utilized proprietary Dell diagnostic software/remote access as well as web based information. Dell/Spherion training was in addition to my own life experience building, upgrading and troubleshooting PC's from Windows 98 to Vista and Linux OS.

Field Application Engineer
15+ years of assisting sales in the identification, presentation, design in and post sales support of new and proprietary components and systems. During this time, I was the IT technician for the branch and sometimes, the region. Additionally, a large part of my job was the installation and troubleshooting of hardware and software in all types of customer computers and OS's in support of manufactures development systems. This included setting up PC's and video projectors for training and sales seminars. To illustrate my interpersonal communication skills, I successfully taught and tested 10 sales personnel helping them achieve their Heathkit electronic certifications.
As an FAE, I always used a laptop for creating Power Point foils, sending email with Outlook, creating Word documents, maintaining a customer data base in Outlook and tracking numbers via Excel.
