BookLobby is out in the world

I'm working on a Facebook application called BookLobby that is a very interesting (I think) mashup of several services.
I've been featured on Sarah Vela's Too Much Information and will be on Shaine Mata's BlogTalkRadio show on April 15.
I love all the support that BookLobby is generating. I hope that you will find it worthy enough to share with your friends.

Interesting idea. I have not heard of anything like this before. It seems to me to be a totally different approach to help "educate" our politicians.
Clintre, not only does it appear to be unique, I think it attacks a part of the political process that was off limits to popular influence until now.
I agree and like it!
An interesting idea... but I don't do Facebook, so I'm not sure I can take advantage of it.
softwarejanitor, sorry you can't play, but you can read and share. No Facebook account required to read Booklobbies.

I choose not to use Facebook because they are partially owned by Microsoft. I did take a look at your web site though, but I am getting a lot of "Internal Server Error" messages.
You gotta stand by what you believe. If you mean the booklobby.com is having trouble, I've not been able to duplicate. Hopefully the problem was temporary. Otherwise I may have to start dissing my hosting provider.

It may have been a temporary thing... maybe you've been "slash-door64'd". Access still seems pretty slow like the web server is overloaded or bandwidth starved.
Brian - thanks for keeping us up to date w/ BookLobby. Please continue to do so. So are you developing the Facebook app youself? I wonder how many FB developers are around these parts.
P.S. "slash-door64'd" hahaha! Slashdoored? doored? I can only hope :)
If it was slashdoored, it seems to be better now, either that or I have a better route to it from home than I did earlier from the office.
The blog is on a shared server right now, so it could have been one of my neighbors. Let's hope that I can return the favor. Subscribe by email!
Hard to say... do you have access to the server logs?
Server logs. Yes, I have them. Would they tell you something?
You could tell if you got a sudden burst of activity right around then. It is usually easiest if you run the server logs through something like analog, you can even generate graphs and stuff.
