Austin Linux Group meets every Thursday evening 7:30PM at the City of Austin Waller Creek Complex. 625 East 10th Street, Austin, TX. Security guard will direct you to our meeting room.
The meeting doesn't officially start until 7:30pm, but some of us will be there at 7:00pm. There is free WiFi service and we have a projector capable of VGA if you want to show anything or need Linux assistance.

Ubuntu 8.04 is released TODAY. Bring a blank CD or DVD and we can burn a copy of anything you might want. Kubuntu, Ubuntu - server or workstation, 64 or 32 bit.
-- Bring a blank CD or DVD and we can burn it for you. Bring a couple extras if you have them.
-- bring a SD or SDHC memory card (1GB or larger)
-- bring a USB memory stick or other device (1GB or larger)
-- bring your laptop with free space on the hard disk. I have my own USB memory stick and you can just copy the ISO onto your laptop.
