Innovation Camp

We are planning a gathering of the creative tribes in Austin, Texas. We want to hold an InnovationCamp- think BarCamp for innovation. The idea is to invite many of those already hip to BarCamps and the culture behind the unconference AND as many people who work and manage in large companies as possible. The goal is cross-pollination. Many studies show that cross-disciplinary collaboration often sits at the heart of game-chaning innovation. This is what we see as the potential for InnovationCamp. We hope to get different people from different backgrounds, disciplines, and organizations together and let them tackle some real and tangible problems in a day of cross-disciplinary collaboration- social innovation, technology, ecological, civic planning and policy, product innovation, service innovation, etc. Bring a problem, create a session, and share a sense of discovery with folks who see the world and act differently in it.
