Mid-week update

Hi all,

Wanted to send a mid-week update regarding a few items of interest:

1. SURVEY: So far I have ~45 responses (thank you!), but there are many more who haven't responded yet. Please take 1.5 minutes to fill out this high-tech employment survey. I'm an engineer, so trust me! It won't take but a minute or two to fill out. This survey is for both employed and unemployed tech professionals.

2. VIRTUALIZATION: Do you work in systems integration or IT services? Interested in learning about virtualization? Register for a free half-day conference on May 14th in Austin. Breakfast is included.

3. GREEN: I'm supporting the Green Technology Alliance, recently founded by the grassroots right here in Austin. The goal is to help build businesses that are green, sustainable and contribute to the economy here in Austin and beyond. You can sign-up for their newsletter, and consider attending their first event on Green IT. (Free, register here)

4. EVENTS: It's May, and there's a bunch of tech & networking events happening this month. If you know of one that's not already listed, please add it!
