Startup Weekend is an intense weekend event bringing brilliant tech minds together to create a company or two or three from concept to launch over a weekend!
While the concept is tech focused that doesn't mean it's only for the tech savvy. It takes business minds, legal minds, creative minds as well as tech minds in order to create a company. Startup Weekend is no different.

All meals will be provided by generous sponsors. Microsoft has also been kind enough to send us a box of goodies to giveaway. Think Xbox games and software. We're also working on bringing in some pampering massages and relaxing but rocking music.
Of course that's just the goodies. The main event is all about getting together with the best and brightest early adopters and creative minds for this cutting edge first time event in San Antonio. When you get this many innovative folks in one room it's like having a Braingasm. :-D
Wherever a Startup Weekend has been hosted, the eyes of the tech world pays attention. For example at Startup Weekend Boulder 2 there were 7-8 companies created. Two of those companies have already been contacted by folks in Corporate America. Who knows what could happen? Startup Weekend San Antonio isn't just a local affair. It's reach extends beyond the borders of our fair city.
