Computer & Technology Product / Service Developer – PMP – Engineering & Business Degrees – I.E. – Tech / Bus Manager

Background information

I am an experienced computer and embedded product developer: HW, FW, SW, mechanicals, etc. Due to 2 acquisitions, and consolidation, my position will be moved to Northeastern Headquarters soon. Since my family chooses to stay in the Austin area, I am pursuing a new position.

I have engineering & business degrees (Texas A&M; UT; UA), Project Management Professional (PMI) and Industrial Engineering (CIT) certifications, and years of successful product launches – startups to Fortune 100. My track-record for shipping products on-time, under budget, is excellent.

I create project plans & specs, track them, & execute to quality, budget, & end-user metrics including:
•Development: ASICs, PCBs, PCAs, enclosures, SW & integration, mechanicals & related,
•Project, Program, (or PMO), and/or LOB Portfolio Management to the corporate level,
•Technology R&D: “white-board concept” to actionable specifications & overall management,
•Tying all areas together with ongoing corporate activities to launch products on-time.

Job-satisfaction comes from combining all (working side-by-side, hands-on, or as management), or concentrating in one – or a couple of these areas – working as a respected, high-energy, mentoring, team player.

APC develops products for Data Center and/or Building Monitoring & Control: includes Access & Environmental Data Tracking / Control, & other “smarts”, controlled via thin client to full server, or IP.

Availability is practically immediate, assuming a consensual match or immediate need. If I close development to APC-Schneider’s schedule, my package includes additional compensation. August 1 is my ideal start date; however, I won’t jeopardize the right position because of an earlier or later start.

My family is definitely staying in the Austin area so my salary and title are very open. Travel is OK.

Best Regards,
