National Western Life, Austin TX: April 2007 – Present. Senior Developer/Analyst. Responsible for new software architecture and development of web application for agency management. New application develpment using LINQ to SQL dal, partial class bll and asp.net/AJAX front end. Created release process using MSBuild.

GTECH, Austin, TX: Feb 2006 – April 2007. Senior Software Engineer. Responsible for development of an n-tier enterprise National Call Center application. Web reports written in asp.net and Active reports. Implemented NUnit unit testing and a more structured version control and release process. Also responsible for development of windows and web services used in support of the Call Center application. Development and management of a MSS IVR server farm. Develop code for multiple MSS applications in asp.net/jscript/vb.net/salt. MSS applications handle a call volume that peaks at ten calls/sec. Web portal development using asp.net/C#. Microsoft SQL database backend.

Barryhund Administrators, Sacramento, CA: Jan 2003 – Feb 2006. Software Developer/Network Administrator. Designed and developed Onlineplanservice.com, an online plan room which allows contractors and sub contractors to access mission critical documents and data (Plans, Specifications and Project Data). This application supports over 13,000 users with an avg. concurrency of usage at ~600. Application was developed using ASP.NET / C#. Service based architecture consisting of web front end, business façade, and SQL Server 2000 DB . Web and business layers are separated physically and are both load balanced independent of one another. Web garden technology also incorporated for middle tier. Extensive use of custom user controls, user specific caching, IE Web Controls custom integration, and Microsoft application blocks. Designed and developed document workflow consisting of clients uploading documents to a load balanced Capture 3.0 cluster. This system can process thousands of tif to pdf conversions daily. Custom integration of web services with Hewlett Packard (Barcelona, Spain Development Group), On-Center Software, and ISqFT. Designed and deployed public web service designed to prohibit simultaneous username logins. Developed various C# console, windows service, and windows applications in support of the main web application and business requirements. Designed, deployed, and supported complete network infrastructure including failover firewall, fully managed switching fabric, passive network packet sniffing, intrusion detection SNORT configuration-deployment, bandwidth monitoring software, smtp/email server. Developed management software and issue tracking software as separate web applications. DTSearch integration with custom index creation and integration with SQL Server and extensive web based client front end for document searching.

AGC Connect, Austin, TX: May 2002 – Dec. 2002. Web Application Developer. Converted online plan room application from ASP to ASP.NET. ASP 3.0/ASP.NET web application, webservices, and SQL Server 2000 DB. Web deployed in web farm load balanced network (Advanced 2000 and 2003 Web Server). Designed and deployed public web service consumed by javascript clients. Developed various C# console, windows service, and windows applications in support of business functional requirements.

Wisecity.com, Austin, TX: April 2000 – Dec. 2001. Web Application Developer. Responsible for client side development of N-Tier client/server COM / DCOM and Internet – enabled database applications at this cutting – edge .com firm. Responsibilities included: gathering user requirements; development of user interfaces, testing, implementation and maintenance of all business systems. ASP 3.0/VBScript, Javascript, IIS5. Developed a web based kiosk touch screen application in ASP.
